Here’s the facts about nicotine (*sources* my doctor, Retuers London, Scientific American*) nicotine is used as a therapeutic chemical, its as affective as caffeine and in many cases nicotine is LESS harmful than caffeine. Nicotine has been shown to positively affect the memory of Alzheimer’s patients. Naturally occurring nicotine is found in eggplant, peppers, potatoes, tomatoes, cauliflower (or any other plant from the Solanaceae family). The fact is that smoking kills because of the tar and chemicals used to in the cultivation of tobacco, NOT THE NICOTINE. And the most IMPORTANT thing to note is that vaping is NOT smoking. There are no known harmful chemicals used in modern e-cigarettes or vaporizers. There are also no known harmful chemicals used in the production of reputable e-liquids. The basic ingredients: 1.) Vegetable Glycerin (VG) is a clear, odorless liquid with a high viscosity. 2.) Propylene Glycol (PG) PG is a thin liquid commonly used as a vehicle for flavor. PG/VG are both are FDA approved. PG can be an allergen in small percentage of people, it is also used in many prepackaged foods such as potato chips. 3.) Nicotine (Nic.) therapeutic and addictive chemical used to emulate the feeling of analog cigarette without the harmful affects of smoking. We have been fighting since day one for vape education and awareness and it is beyond frustrating having to repeat myself.
