Toot toot!
Doodle for the next Nintagious playthrough series! You can find the time-lapse process of this over there, too!
Continued with the extra shading depth here, though not with much different from the Sonic Colors doodle. I think I need to do a simple study on it to experiment with things like line weight (I thought the “middle lines” were too thick on Sonic Colors, but they feel too thin here) as well as just how dark the shading should be (it feels too dark to me, here).
Doodle for a currently-running Sonic Colors playthrough on Nintagious! You can also, of course, check out the time-lapse process of this piece there, too!
I experimented with adding some more depth to my shading, here, but I don’t think it’s entirely there just yet. It sounds like an improvement from what I’ve asked of people so far, though.
Nintagious presents Countdown to Super Smash Bros.
I spaced and totally forgot about posting this for some reason, despite having done it something like three weeks ago. If you follow my shenanigans on YouTube you’ve probably seen it already, as I did remember to get the video up in a timely manner.
I don’t have a whole lot to comment on as I actually haven’t had much time to Smash lately, but I do think Ryu turned out to be an interesting pick for a character and I’m glad they made it happen.
Check out the accompanying recording of the process over on Nintagious!

I didn’t really buy it when the files for Roy and Ryu were originally found some months ago. A lot of it just didn’t sit right (why would they add a third Marth when people are so upset about Lucina already?) and I wanted to believe Nintendo was too smart to leave files just sitting around like that.
Now that it turned out to be legit I find myself not minding so much. They “Luigi’d” Roy enough for him to really stand out as his own character, I think, and he’s easily my favorite of the three already. On the other hand, Lucas turned out rather boring, with how unchanged he is...

I’ve been sitting on this one for a bit now since I was putting off editing - narrowing 17 hours of footage down to 20 minutes isn’t as easy, interesting or fun as one might imagine (and you probably don’t imagine it being so).
But whatever it’s done now! I had a lot of fun with these guys, mostly because Mega Man 3 is when their entrance poses start being a little, uh, non-posey, so I got to get creative with a bunch of them.

Soundtrack for the replay provided by RushJet1. Check out his work on YouTube and Bandcamp!
I was already working on a thumbnail for upcoming Splatoon episodes on Nintagious when a friend alerted me that Nintendo is holding a fanart contest, so I went ahead and poured some extra time into overall quality (I usually rush thumbnails a decent amount, ‘cause, you know, they’re thumbnails) so that I could justify submitting this, because why not?
I also recorded the entire process, but I haven’t gotten around to editing the footage just yet, so I’ll have to post that later.
