I found my old nintendo dsi pokemon game with my childhood savegame still working and now I'm finishing the game for the first time tomorrow

Honestly back then I was so terrified of the antagonistic team, i spent over 80 hours of playtime just walking around, talking to npcs and leveling up my pokemon until every single one of them could oneshot everyone. I only had 4 of 8 badges but level 40 pokemon so I barely had to grind to get ready for the endgame. I didn't intentionally train and just oneshot every single pokemon Trainer, Arena employees and Arena champions until I reached victory road. I'm so excited!

My console can only be held in a few different ways for it to work and while playing, the console can't be moved at all or the card will loose connection, freeze and delete my progess up to the last save. This was a big problem until i figures out the ideal placement- also my right button on the bag jams often and won't let me use my boxes in the PC which can be a pain. But considering that thing is old as fuck and i wasn't the most careful child and took that thing EVERYWHERE, I'm extremely surprised it still works. Considering how expensive USED consoles of the same type right now are, i'm extremely pleased.

Can't wait until tomorrow after work :)
