The game system with the most core-series Pokémon games, at 9 different games, is the original Nintendo DS. This is followed by 8 games on the Nintendo 3DS. For reference, the GameBoy got six games (if you count the original Japanese Red, Green, and Blue as totally separate from the Red and Blue release that came later, otherwise there were three on the GameBoy), the Gameboy Color got only three games, Gameboy Advance has a total of five, and so far, as of the release of Pokémon Legends Arceus, there are seven releases on the Nintendo Switch.
