Okay, here is my attempt at a 5SOS fanfic- a reunion with an old friend at a meet and greet, based off what I wish were/what could have been personal experiences :P
"Hey, Mum, you remember Luke, Michael, and Calum, right?" "What're their last names?" "Hemmings, Clifford, Hood." She looked up from her computer with a thoughtful frown on her face. "Hemmings..." She smiled. "Oh yeah, Liz, right? She was a lovely woman. Yeah, I remember them. Why?" "Well, they're in a band now. They stopped using their facebook pages ages ago, so I had no idea that they were so popular until I was at school today and heard someone talking and I googled them. They're touring America, coming right to Dallas." "Really? Do you think they remember you?" "No idea. I mean, we were friends on facebook, but I haven't talked to them in years." "Wouldn't it be cool if they did remember you? You could be best friends with a band!" We both laughed. "Would you let me see? Tickets to their concert and their meet and greet go on sale tomorrow." She laughed. "Sure. But you get to pay for it." I smiled. "Thanks, mum."

"I'm so excited for next week!" "Me too!" I grinned and squealed a little with my friend, Shannon, who was coming to the concert with me. "Excited for what?" "The Five Seconds of Summer concert!" I turned to Rachel. "I went to school with them back in Rivo before I moved out here. Now they're all famous and stuff, and I have tickets to a meet and greet- I've spent the last three weeks becoming officially obsessed." I laughed, and she grinned cheekily. "Well, if you become best friends with them and go on tour and stuff, take me with you!" We all laughed. "Will do." I promised.

"This line is so freaking long!" I held up my phone to take a picture of the incredibly long line, at which I was at the end of. "Wish you were here instead of sick in bed :(" I texted along with the picture to Shannon, who had a stomach bug. I thought the wait would be boring, but I ended up chatting with the girl in front of me, Sophie. "I've been a fan since Louis first tweeted about them. I can barely breathe, I can't believe I'm actually going to meet them!" I smiled. "Me either, I'm so excited." "So, how long have you been a fan?" "I've known about them since they first started, my friend lives in the same town that they do. But I've only really been a fan for about a month- a bit late to the bandwagon, I know." We both laughed. "Well, we're always happy to welcome new people to the family." She smiled at me, and I smiled back.

With only a couple of people left in the line, I exchanged numbers with Sophie. "It was great meeting you." "You too! Good luck getting into vet school!" I smiled. "Thanks! Good luck with your singing!" She smiled back. "Thanks!" Then she was off . A few minutes later, I was allowed to walk over to them.
"Hi-" Luke cut me off mid sentence. "Emma? Emma Catt?" I grinned. "Hey, Luke. You grew up nice." "You too! I almost didn't recognize you." He said, laughing. Calum picked me up in a huge hug and spun me around. "I've missed you , Em-Flem." I laughed. "I told you years ago not to call me that!" "Aw, you ruin our fun!" Michael came up, laughing, to hug me, which I reciprocated. "Sorry to be the spoilsport." I laughed with him. "And Luke, you may not have recognized me, but I didn't recognize you either- though seeing you on a magazine didn't help with matters." He laughed again as I hugged him. "Gosh, it's so great to see you guys!" Ashton had been standing a little bit away and he stepped forward. "Care to introduce me?" He asked with a smile on his face. "Sorry, I'm Emma. I went to school with these losers ages ago- I moved when I was eight. I saw this meet and greet as an opportunity to catch up- and to meet you, of course." I smiled at him. "Well, the pleasure is all mine." "Is it now?" I grinned cheekily at him. "And enough of the flirting, children." I laughed as Cal took my arm and pulled me so I was facing the others again. "We're free tonight, you should come have dinner with us!" "Yeah, you should!" I smiled. "That sounds great-but instead of me going out with y'all-" "Y'all? I thought you were Australian?" I stuck my tongue out. "Shut it, Mike. Like I was saying, how about y'all come back to my place, and I can show you around where I live?" "Sounds like a plan, partner." I rolled my eyes. "Is that your attempt at sounding American?" Luke laughed, and soon all of us had joined in, laughing together as we walked to my car.
