Day 21: Heat

You had always taken medicine for your heats. You were an omega pro hero, and they only got in the way, until one night, when your husband came home.

“Y/n-- do you want kids” he asked, his red eyes look at you with a small smile. You looked back at him. To tell the truth, you had never wanted kids. As an omega, you were always treated poorly, and you had a huge chip on your shoulder because of it. You weren’t someone's baby making toy. That just wasn’t you.

You sighed and looked at him. You two had been married for almost ten years, and he had never brought it up. “Why, Tenya?” you asked, your eyes distant. “It's just, we’re running out of time, Y/n. and I want kids.” he mumbled. You fiddled with your ring.

“I don't know. I’m tired.” you said. “Goodnight.” and looked away from him. You went to work the next day, your heat on your mind. You’re close friend, Mei, noticed you were worried. “Y/n, something wrong?” she asked, bubbly as ever. “Tenya wants kids. I don’t” you said and shake your head. Mei smiled. She had loads of ‘kids’ she adopted.

“I think you should give it a try, Y/n. going into heat doesn’t even mean you’ll get pregnant, just means it's possible.” she smiled. “ and if you don’t have kids now, just adopt!” you said “You aren’t getting any younger.” and you blushed.

You decided that you would, you’d let him have your heat, because, if tenya wanted kids, you were the one to give it to him.

Now it was just a waiting game.
