Work. What I'm doing and what my boss thinks of it versus reality of the situation
Breaks: Me: *asks if I can work longer and take a break later*
Boss: “She really loves to work.”
Reality: *wants to take a break later so can relax longer knowing people won’t show up.
Mopping and closing the store:
Me: *hurries and cleans everything thoroughly*
Boss: “She really loves closing the store. I’m really impressed with her ability to work”
Reality: *Just wants to go home*
