Made this for a good friend of mine whom I met as a classmate, she's an amazing soul who I love and adore so much. She's been struggling with some personal issues stemming from the increase in islamophobia in her town so I wanted to make this little art piece for her.
I'm not Muslim myself but I know how important Islam is to my friend so I incorporated it in the background as the lighting to signify it's what lights her life up. Her strength and connection to her faith despite all of the ridicule and trauma she's been through is incredibly inspiring and admirable.
I wish all of my brothers, sisters, and nonbinary pals from all religions or lack of religion a very amazing day/night, don't let people tear you down for what makes you happy, you are beautiful. /gen
