Of a Spy's Disappearences

LittleBluStratGirl x NirkanaDeathWeaver (Specifically like that. Yup.) PG? Idek, I've always sucked at ratings :B "The life of a jet-setting spy was hard - there was no doubt about it - but the life of a jet-setting spy's fiance was harder... If that was possible." 

The sun is low behind them as LittleBluStratGirl and NirkanaDeathWeaver stare mournfully into each other's eyes. Below them, crashing into the crumbly white cliff face, waves create a dramatic soundtrack to what promises to be a just as dramatic farewell.

Tears threaten to fall from LittleBluStratGirl's eyes as she re-adjusts her sunglasses. "Y- You will write, w- won't you?" She sniffs, worrying at her bottom lip. "Russia, China, Brazil... Wherever you are, you must promise to write, you hear?!" LittleBluStratGirl frowns up at her spy, fiddling with the other's shirt buttons.

"Of course, sweetheart," NirkanaDeathWeaver breathes, a smile playing on her lips. "It won't be like last time, I swear - just a quick trip, this time 'round."

The two stare out into the deep blue waters of the Atlantic Ocean, contemplating all that had been said. The life of a jet-setting spy was hard - there was no doubt about it - but the life of a jet-setting spy's fiance was harder... If that was possible. Forget bullets. Forget secret ex-USSR officers. Forget neo-Nazi movements. What about the worry? What about the constant dread that settles over your heart?

Somewhere in the distance, gulls cry in anguish for the lovers. LittleBluStratGirl composes herself before asking: "Where are you going?"

"I couldn't say if I wanted to, love," NirkanaDeathWeaver sighs, brushing hair out of the other girl's face. "I think I'm going to Kazakhstan, though. I've had a million and one Russian and Kazakh phrasebooks left on my desk back at the office - apparently they think I won't take any notice." She laughs. "Kazakhstan or Russia. I don't know, look out for the post marks on the envelopes." 

A smile flits across LittleBluStratGirl's face. "Wrap up warm. I don't want you freezing to death up there - I worry about you enough as it i-"

"Oi!" BluSniperAlex calls, quite obviously drunk, martini sloshing onto the ground. "S- Stob- I mean- Hic! Stopplayin'- Kisschase 'n' join- hic! The parddyyyyy!"

The couple stare at the drunk before laughing, cuddling into each other as the last rays of sunshine die away. It was supposed to be a celebration - they were officially engaged, for heaven's sake - not the setting for yet another sob story. They kiss each other briefly before entwining their fingers and heading back inside the villa, smiles on their faces.

So what if they were apart 70% of the time? So what if crazy Russian scientists wanted the both of them dead? 

There would just have to be a red theme to the wedding so that nobody noticed any blood stains on any of the furniture.
