Hi! I agree so much with what you wrote about Byakko Ibun, I mean, that end! I was so shocked!! One thing that I remember from the FY original is that Miboshi has the power to possess someone else's body, like he did with Chiriko, so the body he has, that small thing, is not his real body but I mean, wow, he was so handsome back then!! and how the hell he changed so much?? how did that person that watase sensei introduced us now became that evil thing?? Im so curious!!

I am still having trouble seeing them as the same person…Yeah, I remember too that Miboshi (in Miaka’s time) have the power to take over someone else’s body, and I probably will believe it as that because it’s really hard to believe that the Miboshi (in Suzuno - Byakko’s time) turned out to bethat bald/short monk in Miaka’s time!! TT___TT
I am now really curious as to why he had changed this much, andreally from reading the first chapter to Byakko, Miboshi (Nirusha) doesn’t seemthat heartless/nor selfish, I mean just look at him (in that firstchapter).
I have a hunch as to why he changed so much later on, andperhaps that lies with what actually happened to Neiran (girl) that he came toreally care for, perhaps she will be killed off (Watase does have a way ofkilling off characters to make her story more tragic) or something later on inthe story, maybe(?) just my hunch/guess.
I really do like Nirusha(Miboshi) in Byakko’s time (from what was shown in that chapter), but Iseriously hate the him in Miaka’s time and now I am really having conflictingfeelings and want to treat them as completely different characters, but onethings for sure and that is I am now really curious (just like you).
