Gap yah!
This year I am taking a gap year. I think I'm very lucky. I will be working with the South Lakes branch of NISCU for a lot of my week, and on Thursdays I hope to be doing a ministry training course with the North West Partnership at Leyland. I also hope to get a part time job in the mix but I'm still working on that one. I am very excited about all this, and we shall see how it grows.
I am, however, terrified by the prospect of being left alone when most of my friends have tootled off to their universities and met numerous amazing people. I am sure I will cope.
After my no doubt amazing year in which I hope to grow and learn in many ways, I have to do something. At the moment I feel I am being drawn towards a Physics degree. I have always loved Physics, and I got an A in my results which was a wonderful surprise. The particular course I am looking at is Physics with Philosophy.
Please pray for me while I try and work out my future and begin my gap year, and pray for all my friends beginning their degrees and heading out into the scary place that is our world.
