New interview translation! This time we go back almost 3 years to the release of Shinkai Saitou hen, which coincided with the 10th anniversary of the HakuMyu brand! This interview provides an interesting insight in the long history of the musical series, and how it co-evolved with the 2D franchise it's based on.
A talk between the two directors of HakuMyu, Mouri Nobuhiro (Saitou Hajime hen - Harada Sanoske hen, Shinkai Hijikata Toshizou hen) and Nishida Daisuke (Shitan Hijikata Toshizou hen - Shinkai Sannan Keisuke hen), and the man responsible for the Hakuouki franchise, general producer Fujisawa Tsunekiyo.
