Unexpected Meeting (closed rp with nisi-tenebrae)
It was basically like your average day in Ikebukuro. The bustles of city folk with gray toned appearences, going about their day. Even Simon, the owner of the local Russian Sushi restaurant, was doing his own thing. Simply just bugging the citizens to 'try our Russian Sushi! Is very good!' Shizuo Heiwajima, one of the most well known people living there, noticed his outbursts and began to chuckle, shaking his head while smoking a cigarette. Tom, the man Shizuo was hired to bodyguard, was walking next to him and shrugged his shoulders. "He's at it again. Our Simon."
"You're telling me, not like I care much. It's just another joe-shmoe day in this god-forsaken city. If it wasn't for Celty, it wouldn't be interesting enough for my tastes..."
Now normally nothing exciting would ever happen in Shizuo's life aside from hearing stories about the "Black Rider" or his wealthy younger brother, but that was because everyone who actually acquired a working brain would know better than to mess with him. But that was about to change. It wasn't a person, nor an object, but an out of control city bus that tried escaping the police simply from running several red lights came speeding out of nowhere. Without looking, Shizuo followed Tom across the street until that vehicle came his way, speeding it's way down until it hit something.... well..... not something, more like someONE. The blond man hurdled through the air, landing halfway down the road.
All was a blur. He didn't feel a thing, although as he awoke, Shizuo noticed an off-white enclosure around him. What...? Was this a.... hospital room...? What happened...?
"Oh look he's coming to. Yes, Shizuo Heiwajima? I'm Nurse Namine, you.... really got one heavy injury here."
Shizuo blinked his eyes several times before trying to sit up, as if he was ready to walk out the door. "What do you mean? I feel fine, I don't need anyone's help! Now show me where the exit is!"
"No! This is serious Mr. Heiwajima, you need a good week or so until you can THINK about going anywhere, especially back home to simply continue to rest. You're lucky to even be alive at this point!"
What else could he do? If what she said was true, he couldn't move or do jack shit.... How could this possibly get any worse?
"Oh and I hope you don't mind, but you've got a little roommate with you, he's not doing so hot either, but hey, you won't be alone in here at least," the nurse smiled before exiting the room.
Raising an eyebrow, he watched as she left. What? A roommate? He wasn't crazy about the idea, but hopefully they'll stay quiet or something. He kinda wanted to be alone, but once again, no choice in the matter.
