I. Do you have a guilty pleasure in fic (reading or writing)?

I love reading about characters cuddling.  Don’t care if there’s no actual plot I just love it.

I know I have a habit of having Keith and Shiro be brothers adoptive or actual brothers, or at least cousins in my fics.  I can’t help it, I just love the familiar vibe between the two of them.

Y. A character you want to protect.

Krolia and Kolivan.  Just let Keith keep his little Galra family.  He needs to have some security in his life, and let nothing else happen to Shiro please.  Poor guy has been through enough.

R. Are there any writers (fanfic or otherwise) you consider an influence?

Megan Whalen Turner of the Queen Thief series is a big one (one the best ways I’ve seen write a hurt/comfort scene for a character), but so is Patricia C. Wrede and Terry Pratchett.

14. what's your favourite AU setting?

Hmm....well there are several AUs that I like, but I wouldn’t say there is just one.  I love fantasy settings, I enjoy modern AUs, sometimes a vampire AU but I’m picky on those. Think the only AUs I don’t care for much are horror driven or zombie kinds.  It really depends on the tone of the AU for me.

3. slowburn or established relationship?

Both, I like both.

4. has a fic ever made you cry?

Not that I can remember, but that might be due to sticking the fluffier kind most of the time.  I have cried from a fic being so funny.  Does that count?

1 ) What inspired you to write the fic this way? (Forming Bonds & The Empress's Tears)

For Forming Bonds, I figured it be fun to try a gen/poly ship that just focussed on Shiro, Keith and Allura.  However, the biggest factor was probably that it was originally a prompt that @blacklionshiro came up with and I just couldn’t resist playing around with it.  Add in the fact that I haven’t really gotten a chance to play around with Galra Keith yet, and it just kind of grew from there.

As for The Empress’s Tears, that just started off as a prompt an anon sent me and it just grew from there.  It was fun to write since it has more angst and drama then I usually put in my stories, and it was a nice challenge for it.  Just proves it’s good to do something different then what you usually expect from yourself.

I know some people were expecting me to have interactions with the Empress and Keith more, but that mean I had to go down a darker path for the plot and I just wasn’t comfortable doing that for it.  (I do have my limits)

Never Have I Ever written a Pidge catches a horrible cold fic.

I have not, but it would be fun. Pidge in denial, like total denial.  No, it’s just her allergies, this is why she hates nature.  No, her throat is just dry it’s not sore.  No, I’m not tired, I’m fine.

The others don’t buy it.  It comes to a point where Hunk has to swing Pidge over his shoulder and he brings her to the couch in the living room where Lance and Shiro drop blankets and Keith hands over a pillow for her to get comfy.

She threatens to get up, but the group is just “Nope, you’re staying put and watching a movie with us.”

Pidge glares, but pouts and is like fine, especially when Allura and Coran also insist.  They give Pidge soup, put on a movie and keep her company as she dozes off.

Pidge hates colds, at least she has good company.

Tried to keep it similar to the first/original drawing (but with obvious differences in the poses). ^^
