💗 How do they react to flirting?

Aleah: she's pretty used to being flirted with so she's very much in tune to when someone is doing it. she usually ignores them unless there's some advantage to it- or you have the misfortune of catching her interests

Daye: he's actually pretty similar to his mother in this aspect? in the sense that he's not oblivious to flirting but he chooses to ignore it. his reasoning is more so disinterest and after being harassed enough times working at la voglia, he's kinda over flirting LMAO

🎭 Is there something they're good at that's basically muscle memory now?

Aleah: when you've lived a long time, a lot of things become muscle memory after doing it for so long. i'd say her most important one is her public speaking. she can easily talk about various topics, dodge answer questions, reassure her audience, etc without even thinking about it...

Daye- this one may come as a surprise but bartending, or more specifically mixing drinks! it has everything to do with his time working at la voglia but pretty much any drink you can think of, he can make (although it's really funny to think about considering he himself doesn't drink)

🎆 Is there a character OR someone they look up to/admire?

Aleah: THERE ISSSSSS but i can't tell you bc spoilers, im so sorry <3

Daye- at the current point of the story it's maél! he's basically daye's adoptive father (although you would never know it with the way they act) and daye has looked up to him ever since the day he picked him up and took him home

🧞 If they had 3 wishes thanks to a genie, what would they be?

Nite: OUUUUUU no this is such a good one and i've been sitting on it... ig without having spoilers his 3 would be-

1. take down aleah without any issues

2. have his brother like him enough to still let him be around after everything is said and done

3. be free

🦴 Do they have any pet peeves?

Nite: do not be fooled by his calm exterior which you shouldn't bc he's actually a pretty irritable person so he has quite a few? i'd say one of his biggest ones is when people play stupid but do it really, really obviously. ragebaits the shit outta him which is why daye likes to do it on purpose sometimes

✨ What's your favorite feature about this character?

Nite: i always claim he's my magnum opus so i couldddd answer everything. but the truth is his face is actually my biggest pain in the ass and i'm finally starting to settle on the fact that i'll never be fully satisfied with how he looks. howeverrrr and this is true of pretty much all my sims- i do really love his eyes <3

MMMM OKAY!!!

no i really love these questions, i was actually chatting the other day with some friends about the first one so it's perfect!!

so for Daye, i didn't show this too well in the beginning but in book form, Daye is shown at the very start to love rainy days. this isn't actually the case, for reasons i can't say (yet hehe), his memories are kinda mush. his favorite weather is when it's sunny and there's a slight breeze. there's just something about it, y'know? but again, since his brain is mush, it's actually replacing that forgotten piece with a piece he DOES remember subconsciously which is that Nite's favorite weather is when it's rainy... (Nite loves it bc it's the perfect weather to stay inside and read a book <3) as for seasons, Daye's is spring, Nite's is winter!

for love languages, Daye is 100% quality time!! he doesn't outwardly show love a lot so you can tell he really likes you if he wants to spend all his time with you <33 and we'll see this more in the future but Nite's is physical touch! (and not bc he's a whore okay, that's a whole separate issue) he likes to make sure some part of him is touching another person- leaning on them, playing with their hair, hand resting on their arm, etc etc

Nite - He does actually!! He's a reader so he has a collection of his world's classic literature. Anything from signed copies to first editions... he's kinda a nerd like that LOL He also had a collection of cars! It seems really random but he's always had a fascination with them so he once had a garage just filled with all kinds of cars <3

🧇 A weird food combo they really like?

Aleah - This woman is kinda mad weird in general so she's got plenty of weird food combos T-T but I think the one she likes the most is putting cottage cheese and avocado on her potato chips. That or putting ketchup on chicken noodle soup... Soz - Ice-cream with grilled corn!

🍹 What's their drink of choice at the bar?

Aleah - I feel like Aleah gives off red wine vibes but honestly if she's able to, she's always going for Picon Bière, otherwise she'll probably have a cocktail with Cointreau mixed in Nite - It depends on his motive, honestly. If he's trying to impress, he'll go for top shelf, whatever is the most expensive. If he's there just for a good time, well vodka will do just fine LOL Daye - Water, honestly ;-; He's not really much of a drinker (working at La Voglia will have you looking at drunkenness in a different life)

🌊 - Does this oc have a secret or repressed desire?

Nite - Absolutely he does, so much so that he finds it suffocating. It's one of those things where you want it so badly but you'll never get it, y'know? And as much as he tries to pretend it's not there, it eats away at him bit by bit because he knows he'll never get what he desires <3

Daye - Daye does but in the sense of it's repressed simply because he doesn't care enough to act on it LOL He doesn't necessarily have the fear of never achieving or obtaining what it is he desires, he knows it's within the realm of possibility. It's just not something he feels the need to, at this moment, to do something about it.

⚡ - Does this oc have any unusual or “irrational” fears?

Nite - Nite has a fear of sleeping in rooms without windows and/or sleeping close to doors. Like any doors. Dude literally used to live in a house where his original bedroom had the regular (?) door and then a door leading to a balcony (okay, rich kid) and after he developed this fear, he literally lost his mind because no matter which side of the bed, he was too close to a door 😭 Which is also to say, he has to pick the side or the bed closest to a window. What a weirdo.

Daye - Hmm... I don't think Daye specifically has any unusual/"irrational" fears? No- I lied. Can't believe I forgot this. Daye has the unusual fear of being held (like how a parent might hold their older child) and even though he's grown now, he does get anxious when people go in for a hug or something because his brain tells him they might, uh, pick him up? (Just because he's a short king does not mean he's child sized) He's not entirely sure why he has this fear though but his gut tells him it's lost somewhere in his shitty memory...

🔅 - How does this oc deal with physical pain?

Nite - He doesn't LOOOL He so stereotypically shoves that shit down. And mind you, while I haven't delved into this lore too much, we're basically talking about (basically) "super" humans here so when they're in pain, it's for good reason. Anyways, he literally just ignores the pain and keeps going on, business as usual. Doesn't even make the slightest indication that he's in pain. Kind of like how a cat won't let you know they're sick until they're on the brink but even then he still probably won't say anything 😭

Daye - He's similar to his brother where he initially ignores it and tries to power through but unlike Nite, Daye has his limits. There gets to a point where he's like "yeah fuck this, I need to do something about". Does he try to do something about himself, by himself first? Oh hell yeah but he is willing to ask for help if it gets too unbearable.
