Yes. But if it helps, I feel like a useless family member too.

That feeling of sibling rivalry sucks, especially since you know your sibling can’t help it. My mom has flat told me she loves my sister more than me so I know how you feel.
Aw man. Well, my parents never told me that but they sure put my brother on a pedestal. I mean, I love him. He's the best brother one could ever hope for. But it still hurts to know there's a "favourite child" in the family. Shouldn't parents love all their children equally? Which often makes me wonder if it's because I'm a girl. Cause it's not unusual for asian especially Chinese families to favor their sons. idk.

Don’t put yourself down just because it seems like someone is on a better track than you. Easier said than done, I know. You’re applying to uni, that’s already something to be proud of! Hang in there and don’t underestimate yourself! :) *hugs*
*hugs* Wow how do you know I'm applying to uni? lol. Yeah I constantly remind myself that my brother and I are trying to achieve different things in life. But it's hard cause it seems to me that all my parents talk about is how their son is living the asian dream of being a doctor. I just can't wait to get myself into a uni and start living!!
Thanks for the nice messages, you guys! :') You made my day less sucky, that's for sure. xoxo
