I was trying to point out everything Subz didn't put in his video, what he chose not to talk about, the implications of that and like. How just sad everything was tbh
Firstly Mane; Before the warden arc even started, that day Mane almost banned Zam at spawn and Subz was the one to log on to save him, Mane and Mapicc and Zam and everyone there kept glazing him, talking to him, trying to drag him into the lore almost and include him but Subz just, didn't really respond at all to it. And even during warden arc mane almost instantly messaged subz asking if he could join and help him with the wardens. Subz was the one to refuse the offer. That was cut out of the video
When Subz started the arc, minute messaged him asking if everything was okay, worried for him off server. As an admin. All that was also cut out the video. Replaced with Minute being one of the loudest voices when you hear them scream we are lifesteal at the end and shots of Minute throughout the video when he talks about his isolation from the rest of the server
Then BACON. Completely cut out of the video and its like, throughout the arc bacon was someone who genuinely wanted to hang out with subz, and they did hang out. They spent a lot of time in group together while they worked on there own projects. The only mention of this in subzs video is that it was awkward. and it WAS awkward but bacon was genuinely trying and subz was also trying but. Maybe it wasnt enough. Bacon invited Subz to the spawn build competition day. Subz didnt show up
Then all the eclipse federation mentions throughout the video... At some point he was in the s4 base, he mentioned s4 explicitly as well and the only person to contact him and be on good terms with him after s4 ended i assumed was implying zam (although thinking about it now could likely be red as well im not sure...) but like. Strong strong eclipse refrences. No direct refrence to Zam to or to Vitalasy. Vitalasy who'd been his closest friend those past seasons. Vitalasy. He was the only one by Vitalasys side when s4 ended. During s5 and s6 some of the only times he ever really logged on where when Vitalasy was there
These mentions of eclipse... like Subz has talked about how none of the current seasons are like s4. S4 when he had eclipse. Nothing has come close to that for him on lifesteal since. Its definitely part of the reason why Subz left lifesteal, again not addressed in the video past vague refrences which is... something.
And then the part about SMP civ. I really thought that SMP civ would maybeeee be what binded subz to the lifesteal group again, bring him back maybe even. Seeing him interact with lifesteal, working with all of them in a team i thought it maybe maybe would be enough but like when you listen to them shouting "we are lifesteal" you listen for his voice and you just can't hear it
What im trying to say with all of this was that it was sad. Subzs loneliness despite other peoples attempts at forging connections and despite his own. None of it was enough to actually make him feel like he was a part of the server anymore. Part of the friend group anymore. So maybe he cuts it all out of the video because regardless of it all, he still felt outcasted in the end and thats what actually ended up mattering to him.
