Made our semi-annual stop by @beachfirebrewing for beers and nosh, where I chowed on one of the best meatball sandwiches I ever had, filled with a dollop of marinara and melted three cheese goodness accompanied by delicious pork and beef meaty balls, served with a fresh garden salad with vinaigrette, and chased with the clove, prune, dark pitfruit funk, mild bourbon and subtle maraschino cherry sweetness of Beach Fire’s co-second anniversary collaboration with Chemainus’s @riotbrewingco, Tantrum Dubbel. Then I closed with the creamy, earthy rye malt of Nitro Red Ale.
