hmmm I actually think that Super Mario Galaxy has the best soundtrack out of literally all Mario games. Gusty Garden Galaxy theme and how it just screams “YOU’RE PLAYING SMG” even though it’s not the main theme? iconic! and the main theme? really fucking feels like something you’d play in outer space. Waltz of the Boos? the only thing that even comes close to beating it in spookiness is the Ghost House music from NSMBW. either way there is not 1 bad song in the game and I lowkey wish I was born in 2003 so I had grown up feeling nostalgic about SMG rather than SMS.
