An addition to the ‘Difficult Listening’ series: ‘Don’t Let Your Heartbeat Keep You Safe’, collage on paper, 12 x 12”. Working in a 12- inch square format, the size of a vinyl record album, these works serve as reimaged record sleeves. Taking their titles from snippets of song lyrics that I find to be as poetic as the images I’ve created, meaning emerges, for me filled with both originality and nostalgia.
