im not saying tyson worked himself into a shoot, but it absolutely looks like the fan criticism towards his dumbass promos since Dominion, coupled with his negligence in booking sex offenders and abusers at the NJPWxCEO show, got homeboy feelin all types of defensive over something that coulda easily been dealt with if he’d just apologized for poor oversight and promised not to do it again (a statement he eventually released after throwing hissy fits at his fans who had legitimate grievances towards the shitshow). like, im not sayin he needa publicist and an intern monitoring his social media, but lmao, this shit’s only gonna get worse for him if he the performer doesn’t realize that he can’t be booking a friendfest while using his host company’s banner, actin up like some dumbass babyface when he’s supposed to be a heel (what was that about disparaging comments regarding Japanese talent in his endcut promos for the NJPWxCEO show??? tyson pls, use ur brain you fuckin dumbass), and being negligent as hell with vetting the ppl working for him. 

fact of the matter is, these incidents are just gonna keep piling up on him if he doesn’t realize there’s a modicum of chill required to work with a fanbase as volatile as his own. if there’s a lesson to be learned here, lads, it’s that a calm head on your shoulders is a necessity in a sport as ugly as this one. it’s surreal to think that folks now shoot believe this man tryna change the world when he’s literally just doin what others have done before him, but he stay gettin gassed up cuz he can play a good victim on social media. it aint like anime, tokusatsu, and idol culture aint already deeply married to puroresu, but nah, just cuz homeboy a proud weaboo, suddenly the gaming population watchin wrestling is special. thotty aint slick, no self-respectin weeb tryna out themselves in the workin world fam. i don’t know what tyson’s next move is, but im gonna hope this was a learning lesson from the gods so he learns to better separate his kayfabe from his real life and not work himself into a worse shoot than his own fans and like, learn to deal with real-life crises with a calm head instead of going into full defense mode.
