Castle Point Anime Con 2016: Homestuck Cosplayers Needed For The Panel

Homestuck Cosplayers Are NEEDED for CPAC 2016!

Hey guys! Me, @i-like-my-puns-intended, and @aniapprentice are all hosting our first official panel, “Deus Ex Meteor” at Castle Point Anime Con 2016. It is taking place on April 24th at _____ in Hoboken, New Jersey at the Stevens Institute if Technology. And of course we need a large cast of cosplayers!

MAIN INFORMATION

I will be hosting the panel as Dave, and my co-hosts will be Punk! Vriska and Porrim, along with the others of our group Chasing Gold Cosplay. We need to fill in the slots of both the rest of the meteor crew as well as some trolls spotted through out the dream bubbles. (”Deus Ex Meteor” being the title referencing the many surprise events occurring while the meteor traversed over the three years.) The People we will need are:

Trolls: Damara Megido, Kanaya Maryam, Vriska Serket, and Gamzee Makara (All preferably in their canon regular outfits except for 

- Gamzee we’d like him to be sober, since this panel is regarding the recent events of the meteor But all canon outfits can still try out for both of these characters)

REGULATIONS, RULES, AND THINGS TO KNOW PRESUBMISSSION

-The panel has already been approved!! There is no official time or place yet, but you will be notified ASAP.

-Submissions will end March 19th. ( We will decide on the official panelist cosplayers and post it when we have settled ourselves down to be able to, we will not post it exactly at 12:00 AM or anything too early )

- Submission is via email

-You must be able to stay in character the whole panel, this panel is rated PG-14

-You can audition for multiple characters! (It is encouraged to do so, this also increases your chances on being accepted)

-Troll auditions don’t have to be in full gray

-A Majority of the panel will be improv, anything otherwise we will discuss with you

-PLEASE be willing to get to know your fellow panelists before the panel, and please try to communicate with them (it helps provide a better panel experience and panel overall; we will likely have a skype group made for the panel)

-Any and All other information will be tagged with “deusexmeteor” from here and so on

-Cosplayer OOC Information you feel is interesting or pertinent to include

-Actual Method of Audition: Video of you in your cosplay answering questions OR multiple pictures of said cosplay [at least 4] and typed answers to audition questions [video is preferable]

-Prior fandom/cosplay experience (Watching/hosting/organizing any previous panels/meetups/photo shoots or anything like that)

-Prior acting experience

-Any questions regarding the panel

The Predictable Turtle NJStuck Meet Up! ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ When: August 29, 2015 Time: noon-4pm Location- Thompson Park, Jamesburg, NJ ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Rules- 1.all inappropriate items will be confiscated (ie; buckets, weapons, triggering objects) 2. Please being a blanket or towels we will be in grass! 3. Wander at your own risk! The woods near are big and could get lost easily. 4. If your gonna be painted PLEASE SEAL! 5. There will be a photo shoot! But you dont have to be in cosplay! You could come to hang out. 6. There will be a raffle! We will be raffling off some perler bead pride flags and art! If you will we will discuss with you what you would like. 7.please don't attack or harass anyone. Its a park, theres gonna be kids around. 8. Please eat before or bring in something, theres no close food places and were not responsible for feeding you guys. 9. Since children will be around, please no gore sfx! 10.ALSO COSPLAY.IS.NOT.CONSENT! Ask before hugging or laying a hand on someone you dont know! ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Our location is in the furthest back of the park (theres play grounds and a animal feeding place.) theres a large hill. Sadly we will need to climb and go over but its so we have enough space and away from the kids! Any questions send them to my ask!
