If you have any tips on flipping animation, I'd be curious to know! I've always had trouble trying to find a way to flip pages while working traditionally that lets me study whether or not the drawings are flowing together as a whole. Most of the time, it kinda feels like I'm just relying on my gut until I can scan them into the computer and see them on the screen.
I’ll have to rig up my camera and do a lil tutorial on flipping !
although to be honest, the only way to see if your drawings are flowing together as a whole is just practice. There is no easy way to train your eye to spacial differences really although thats where things like life drawing come in handy
ppl think lifedrawing is just about anatomy but its also about seeing something thats infront of you and putting it down on the page - it helps you learn about neg space/proportions and all that jazz . When you flip on paper with animation all spacing/timing/on model things have to do with the exact same concepts.
I think relying on your gut and just keep practicing is where you wanna go so you’re on the right track - your eye will eventually catch up !
