With the advent of the 1930s, the Nichols family gets plumbing throughout the house as well as a whole new kitchen featuring fancy new appliances.
In 1925, Tony turns 13 and Arthur and Alice turn 2.
November 11, 1918, peace begins and that December, Junior makes it home.
Raising herself from her seat, Almina joins Effie and Clara to dance, and immediately crashing to the floor, breathing her last breath.
Almina’s flu stretches on. She’s able to lift herself out of bed occasionally. It breaks George’s heart to see her like this.
As bea grows older, she continues to spend countless hours being taught by her grandfather.
Bea’s favorite person in her family is her adoring little brother Tony.
