Plot Drop: New Era
After all the chaos of the past six months, as King’s Landing became a hot bed of destruction, violence and extreme political ideas, the people of Westeros have finally voted in their new Prime Minister.
The candidates had been the former PM himself, commonly called by his campaign nickname Oolio, who was revealed to have been married to a Reborn (the former sister of Tywin Lannister no less) half his life, but unfortunately, both he and their two grown children, as well as their grandson were killed in one of the Wildfires explosions before the end of the campaign. Thus the remaining candidates were the head of Section 43 (a government group focused on taking Reborns off the streets and having them tagged, under strict control) and Cici Lawton, a Reborn, the former Cersei Lannister.
The vote sees Cici Lawton, successful fashion designer, now ruling over a country, but while people are glad to be ridding Section 43 of their power, that doesn’t mean their happy aboutt he new leader...especially with the rumours that she is backed by the Wildfires.
The Iron Throne used to be the source of all power in Westeros, but after the Civil War, three hundred years after The War of Five Kings, followed by the Reformation, the King of the Seven Kingdoms has been nothing more than a figure head for the past six hundred years, real power lying with the Prime Minister and an entire council of politicians. But the Wildfires want to think higher than that, for the Iron Throne to mean something once again, and for the ‘wronged’ Cersei Lannister to be sitting on it.
The Stoneheart Cult are still a significant threat, as their supposedly vigilante justice continues to be felt by any Reborns of Lannister, Boltons and Freys, as well as any distant descendents, and The Order of the Wolf are becoming even more forceful in wanting Ned Darren to challenge Cici Lawton’s impending reign.
Elijah, the former Edmure Tully, has been single-handedly running a refuge and charity for abandoned Reborns (many families kicked them out when discovering what they were, scared of the unknown) even since the founder, and his friend, Maggie, was taken by Section 43. A woman, Mona, turns up, uncannily familiar, claiming to be Maggie’s younger cousin, saying the woman had been forced to flee for safety, and that she was here to take her place, but something doesn’t fit quite right with her story....
