1. Chrome is being inexplicably weird and not permitting replies or reblogs or keyboard navigation. It's like there's a complete lack of functionality from whatever protocol controls that stuff, and it appears to be tumblr-specific. Grrr. I'm in IE now, and I can at least hit 'create post' without the dash fading out and the composition box failing to appear. If anyone has any ideas... 2. Today I got to spend my work shift in my hometown's library branch! It's incredibly tiny, so interesting to see how space changes the ways in which patrons and staff organize and use their resources. It's still in the same system, but we serve an area larger than Delaware, so... People come to my main branch a lot, but there's rarely cause to go to the other branches unless we request it. Forks is in a couple weeks, so that'll be fun. 3. For National Library Week I tossed together a testimonial speech bubble thing and sent it to all the branches, and people are running with it in adorable and unexpected ways! Looking forward to putting it all together at the end. 4. I don't work until 1 tomorrow (late shift due to helping with a middle grade poetry slam), so wine and music are pretty much mandatory.

"This YOUmedia experience [in the Library] has made a big difference in my life because the staff here made me realize how important life is. Everyone has a choice to be good or bad. I now have been influenced to do good things."
