New Mexico State Fair meetup!
Dai stiho folks! A cousin is organizing another meetup at the New Mexico State Fair on September 8th. You can RSVP with Masha at [email protected].
Masha will meet people at 10 am at the main entrance (see map here). Entrance is $10, Masha recommends budgeting at least $30 for two meals of food. The plan is to wander and take things as they come, visiting attractions and possibly rides ($25) based on the group’s interests. Masha plans to see the various animal attractions, such as sheep shearing, milking demonstrations, and especially the baby animals (cows, ducks, pigs, chicken, sheep, dragons).
Outside food and drinks are not allowed other than a plastic water bottle (there are refill stations) unless you have dietary restrictions. If you do, let Masha know what your specific needs are so she can ask the fair staff about it directly. There is parking at the fair and often also at local businesses for cheaper. It might also be possible to meet at Masha’s place at 9:30 and drive in with her.
