Boston’s Calling
Dai Stiho Cousins! Since it’ll be such a long time before we can see each other again, some cousins came up with the idea of mini, informal meetups across the country! The first of these meetups will be held in Boston on Memorial Day Weekend!
The Boston meetup is being organized by a cousin by the name of Sonia Grace. The plan is to meet at the Boston Museum of Science at noon on May 26th, and tour the exhibits together. Everyone will be buying their own tickets, but if you can’t afford the entrance free, contact Sonia and she might be able to work something out. The museum is near the Science Park stop on the green line of the Boston subway, and has many accessibility options such as audio labels on exhibits and wheelchair access.
If you’re planning on going to the meetup, RSVP with Sonia either by email at [email protected] or message @riddlerose on the Young Wizards Slack.

Help me Plan a Fanime Meetup!
So as y'all know, I'm going to Fanime this year, and I figure this is a good opportunity to get to know some of y'all. So, when and where would you guys find it appropriate to do a mini meetup of sorts?
If anyone here is going to MCM in London this may, some people are organising a meet-up for those cosplaying as les mis characters :) (even if you're not cosplaying you could always come along and chat, no-one will probably mind!)

Brisbane mini meet-up!
Being great fans of themed and costumed picnics, the lovely kilis-invisible-beard and myself are thinking of having a Les Mis one on June 8, the nearest Saturday to June 6. Depending on the location, we're hoping to set up a barricade-tent-blanket-fort and we'll watch the movie via laptop. Costumes optional but encouraged, delicious French food provided, singing mandatory.
Location and time and those sort of unimportant details are still up in the air, but let us know if you're interested in joining our crusade?
Chicagoians, Anyone want to come with?
Tomorrow I am going to a live audience taping of the Steve Harvey show. They will be filming a full show and one of the segments is the taping of the kids (including Princess M) talking to Steve that we went downtown for a few weeks ago. They are filming the parent's reactions, so I will be there. My husband would go with but he has a meeting at 3 and my mom has a doctors appointment.
If anyone wants to be my +1 let me know. We have to be there by 11 and it will be done taping no later then 3 (most likely earlier). We can always get a quick glass of wine across the street after the taping, it could be a mini meetup!
