After leaving Lares, Puerto Rico 🇵🇷 where we loved visiting with my family, we discovered a magical beach called, "Mar Chiquita" or "Little Sea" on the north central coast of the island, in Manatí. • We discovered it randomly as we were looking for an Airbnb on the beach where we could have our dog, Nala with us, and we found this hidden gem. It has so much of what our family loves: wild ocean, soft sand with amazing sea glass everywhere plus a little protected lagoon for swimming. 2nd Covid-19 vaccine shots are done. A bit nervous about potential reactions over the next 24 hours. Super grateful to be at a friend's house where we can take it easy over the next few days. Although we like to tell people he injured his shoulder rescuing kittens 🐈 from a great white shark 🦈 (sounds more impressive) the truth is my sweetheart hurt himself back on the 4th of July, getting into the dinghy at an anchorage in Goslings, Maine. ⛵ That's more than 3 months of constant pain. 😫 • This morning my husband, Nathan goes in for surgery to repair 4 torn tendons in his shoulder. I hate that Covid-19 prevents me from going in there with him.
