The stage is my space. Everywhere I go now, there are so many people who have embedded themselves into [it], who are required to be there for my safety or my own productivity or whatever. I don’t get to spend as much time alone, so when I’m out there, I get that sense of autonomy and I realise that I can do and say whatever the fuck I want. It’s like a game for me!
