Running as fast as she could. Crying.

She skillfully evaded obstacles like falling rubble, and what she perceived to be the corpses of children- with gymnastic skill that shouldn’t have been capable of someone her age.

When she saw another person, she stopped- trying not to cry to the point where she couldn’t be understood.

“You have to run! It’s not safe!!”

“There’s no shortage of thugs in this city, either, huh... I can’t tell if it’s better or worse than home.”

He also didn’t know what ‘better’ or ‘worse’ really meant, either. Would more criminals be ‘better’ for him, because it gives him more to do? Maybe. Tim isn’t immune that line of selfish thinking.

Even so... He ignores that depressing thought and turns to the person beside him, the person who helped him take down a group of criminals just now.

“Hey, thanks for that. You’ve got some good moves.” He couldn’t ignore that aspect. This person was clearly trained in combat, and that could be either good or bad. “... Where’re you from?”
