When did you write your first poem ?
I wrote my first poem at the age of 13
What is your favorite part about what you do ?
My favorite part of doing what I do is knowing that others could relate to my work. To know that we all share similar experiences at times when we feel most vulnerable and alone.
What keeps you focused ?
Being able to spread positivity, independence, and a journey to better tomorrows through my poetry.
What was the inspiration behind 'Pretty Souls' ?
Experiencing my own battles and struggles through depression, anxiety, heartbreaks, insecurities, and loneliness. I feel fulfilled knowing that I'm spreading healing to emotional wounds, recovering the joy and freedom individuals have once felt and helping others restore self love so they could be able to spread love to others.
What is next for the N.Michelle ?
I'm currently working on a sequel to pretty souls. Im also working on a website with prettysoul merchandise available for both men and women. So keep an eye out for that .
