the book title is a nod to Hokma's quiet longing for the old times and people, but surely he would not Think such thing to implement this would exist, hence why making a joke to Roland which wasn't read as a joke. it isn't the book and its potential that Hokma praises him for, it's the feat of searching for a nonexistent book through the whole year to give it to your partner and make them feel better. also this post had been inspired by @redtomb's joke on book search. happy birthday grandpa!

This is the final post for the askblog role, but certainly not the last you'll see of these guys! Just gotta let go of some askblogs in order to do new stuff and i have less time for art now sadly. On the bright side i finally got to make a reference to Der Kuss and it's in the final askblog post and thats somewhat symbolic as i wanted to do that from the very beginning...

About AUs mentioned: it's the Benji-Binah AU, the one swapping Benjamin and Garion completely including gender due to their Sephirot places (see #benji binah au); the AU with genderswapped Roland which i've made a few posts of; and a crossover with Monochrome Factor manga which is relatively new and i'll make some posts about its design and overall plot later.

final askblog post of 2024, it's been a good run. i don't even want to count how many pages i did this year. as for this post, the thing about Hokma's heart is of course a headcanon, coming from the fact that Sephirot only had their brains left from the human bodies, no hearts. it's just he's the only one dramatic enough to ask for removing

said im done with askblog stuff abt them but that same askblog is running an annual event of making posts for ships without taking up roles, sure enough i regretted leaving the hokland role behind like two weeks after ive done that and i did this little thing to scratch the itch. will maybe rehearse the role itself in a few months but right now there is enough work to do

a very short simple thing before another sort of depressing one. my personal opinion is that Roland speaks his colleagues' names in a way it can already be interpreted as a pet name or a nickname, he's got his own way of saying them, Hokma is no exception (the first time Roland says hello to him rings in my head to this day. I stg). A more thrilling question would be "how about what do you call each other in bed" but thats an entirely different story innit
