HE DIDN’T EVEN FUCKING DRINK THE CIDER
yoite you did so good baby i’m so proud of you. you did so well
love 👏 is 👏 stored 👏 in 👏 the 👏 gau
raimei is so ready to fistfight yoite and he’s just trying to stay conscious enough to make it up the goddamn stairs
“i’ve killed so many people i’m almost numb to it now” is another line i shouldn’t find funny because he looks so miserable but it’s so melodramatic i have no choice but to laugh
i love how both raimei and raikou stepped into shimizu roles even after their family’s end. the shimizu family’s purpose was to 1) observe/watch over the nabari world, and 2) kill disloyal people. raimei observes and watches over miharu while raikou kills traitors for the kairoshu. whether they’re aware of it or not, the shimizu code still courses through their veins, regardless of how separated they are from their family.
an underrated moment that kills me: when yoite and miharu get the food at the station while they’re waiting for the train to togakushi...
miharu says it smells good, and when yoite goes to eat it, he stops and looks at it for a moment.
miharu asks, “what? what’s wrong?” and yoite doesn’t say anything, but miharu knows what’s wrong.
yoite can’t smell it. he’s getting worse.
i love that gau can curse. i think it’s only him and yukimi that curse in the whole show and they definitely deserve to
