Been thinking about how the 1979 version of Monty Gator plays a banjo. Glamrock Monty plays bass guitar. So Monty has a long history with playing stringed instruments.

What I find very interesting is that Spring Bonnie is often depicted in fan works with a banjo, and Glamrock Bonnie was the official bass player for the Pizzaplex before Monty. However, Spring Bonnie does not seem to have any official instrument that he plays. A banjo just seems like a natural fit for him, being an old-fashioned character known for singing and dancing.

I truly do wonder if we will ever get to see Spring Bonnie officially holding/playing a banjo, as an idea stolen from Edwin Murray's Classic Monty.

As a side note, I can't shut up about Monty being one of Edwin's characters, dude. I can't believe it. Mr. Hippo and Happy Frog, too. I wonder if all the Mediocre Melodies were creations of Edwin and they were just called "Mediocre" because Fazbear Entertainment was low-key throwing shade at Edwin Murray.

That makes me wonder... was Nedd Bear ever a rip-off of Fredbear? Someone else brought up that question, and now I'm curious!

If we end up seeing Pigpatch, Orville Elephant, or Nedd Bear at Murray's Costume Manor, I am going to lose my mind!

Apparently Edwin Murray is responsible for manufacturing the vacuum cleaner used to create Mr. Hugs from Trash and The Gang, so if we see Mr. Hugs, Bucket Bob, Mr. Can-Do, No. 1 Crate, or Pan Stan, we'll know Edwin created these guys too.

The hype I have for Secret of the Mimic is unreal...!

I decided to take a bit of time off from the costume to make some Halloween decorations for the door. The standees were made of cardboard, posterboard, and more than a bit of paint. @8bithellscape made some beautiful paper pals, drawings, and of course No. 1 Crate! My favorite part was of course Foxy, though. I stuck Foxy's helmet and chest on a precarious stack of boxes in the window with some curtains made from fabric I found on redbubble. My roommate rigged up the light's she's been working on for the eyes to make him extra spooky.

The kids who came to the door loved it and our first visitor was even in a Monty costume. Adorable!
