My whole weekend already has been allllll about my China/Vietnam trip this summer. I’m stupidly excited about it and travel planning and research are one of my many talents, if I do say so myself.
So much so, that after talking to my mom for awhile just now, she said that she definitely owes me a few dinners or something while we’re traveling. I don’t personally think she owes me shit because she’s my mom, it’s my vacay too, and I genuinely love this stuff, but I did say that she could buy me one giant tropical fruity drink with a whole pineapple in it when we’re on Nha Trang beach in Vietnam. I want many of those.
Also already have a bunch of updates I’m working on for my travel blog, which I am finally getting running again. You go, girl.
Annnnnnnd today I found out that I have been accepted to teach two terms of Spring School which I mentioned before! Hello fun field trips in Tokyo/Yokohama and extra moooooooney. So, I slept forever earlier today, but I’ve accomplished a lot! Except for showering. I should probably do that now.
I think before bed I’ll tuck in with a cuppa herbal tea and a documentary of film about China. Cozy cozy. *pats self on back for being so motivated and smart and cultured and stuff lately*
