No equal
She was the single most beautiful woman I had ever seen. I don’t mean that in a way that sounds like all others where nothing attractive but next to her they held no candle. She was exquisite, singular, and angelic. From the first time I met her no other mattered past or present. I was hers completely, irreparably, and unequivocally. When she spoke the world stopped and all was right. When she laughed my heart stopped and I knew there was nothing in life that I wanted more then to simply be in her presence. When we kissed for the first time my world stopped spinning and my heart beat so fast that I felt it had stop. I took my time not to ruin a feeling this new and foreign to me. I had been with others before her, I had said those three words so much that they lost a meaning that I never understood in the first place. I had faked the feeling. But from the first time that her and I talked something began to grow in me, something terrifying and exciting. I waited to long to tell her how i felt, she was with someone else by the time I told her the only truth I had learned in the years I have wandered this earth. I told her that I loved her and never had I meant it before her. I can say that truthfully because before I met her I had no idea what love was. And after I learned she was with another I waited for my feelings to shift and for acceptance to set in, but they never did instead my love for her just kept growing. I wanted nothing but for her to be happy. I reserved myself to being nothing more to her then a confidant. Until one day she looked at me and with the one look of hers that I can not question she told me how she felt and I melted. She said “I love you” and everything wrong in the world was right. No questions, no emptiness, and no fear. everything was perfect. But she still was with another and I wept out of jealousy yet I still tried to help her make it work. As much as my heart cried out for her I knew she would want me to be on my most upstanding behavior. I helped her when I could and fought my own selfish wants and needs. But no matter what happened my heart was hers and hers alone. I would never give it to another, No other could even be a place holder for her. I decided that if I could not have her as my own or I hers then I would be happy just being in her life. And I could live that way happily. I would do anything she asked to see that smile that could make me feel like there is no evil in this word. I needed her like a man dying of thirst needs water. She was the first woman in my life to make the whirlwind of my mind find ease and a level of calm I thought a myth. I used all my strength and will to keep myself in check, but being around her I began to give in little by little, I let myself think of a future with her. And it was the purest form of happiness that I have ever experienced. She was on my mind every waking second and in my dreams every night I slept. I began to think she was a dream until the next time I saw her.
She had been hurt before by boys unworthy of her, and I found myself jealous of them. For they had the one thing in my life even for a second, a second in which I would trade all my time on this earth for. But when she smiled at me all I could hope for is to call her mine. I loved her more then any word could describe. I cared not for difference between us. She tried to push me away expecting anger and a man whom would run away but my feelings never wavered.I stood my ground and never lost hope. i promised her every day that I would never run away nor let her push me away. Thinking of a life without her would be the same as not living.I loved her in away that I could not explain. I broke one night and knowing full well she was with another I kissed her again, after months of not knowing her lips I have never tasted anything sweeter then hat moment then to know her lips once more. I had no regrets just sorrow over the pain that I caused her. A dear friend tried to put logic to the situation but he understood nothing. Not of my feelings for her nor the hurt and pain of never knowing this feeling before. She made me want to be a better person to make all the pain of her life melt away as she had done for me. I wanted nothing more the to simply say I would life and die for her. But I put her through a pain I had not understood. I made her feel the pain of lose. I made her feel a pain that I never thought any one would feel towards me. And in the moments that followed I began to understand her feelings towards me. In that moment I caught of brief glimpse of the love she said she had for me.
Never in my life has someone intrigued me, never has someone been so impossible for me to read. But she is, and I love it, All I want is to be hers for the rest of my days.
What I am trying to say is I love you and always will no matter what comes. I always will and I’m not going anywhere anytime soon.
