I've lost 32 pounds in the last six months which is pretty amazing considering I wasn't even able to walk for 2 months of it. I think this just proves that diet is most of weight loss.
Quick and easy healthy meal for a Saturday night dinner. Tuscan herb pork tenderloin served over sautéed spinach with Rosemary potatoes and steamed green beans almondine.
Working from home today. Decided to make my breakfast fancy. No'tmeal with fresh whipped cream and dried berries
No sugar and no grain means no dessert, right? WRONG! And thank god for that! This is a super simple dessert that’s delicious on its own, but even better if you can get your hands on some sugar free vanilla frozen yogurt or ice cream.
Here’s what you need:
Apples
Butter
Cinnamon
Vanilla extract
Water
Walnuts (Optional)
Nutmeg (Optional)
Sugar free frozen yogurt or ice cream (Optional)
Here’s what you have to do:
Preheat your oven to 375 degrees
Slice up your apples and through them into your baking dish. We used 8 apples to feed 4 people, so about 2 apples per person. You can use green apples, red apples, or a mix, its totally up to you!
Sprinkle on your cinnamon and nutmeg. I like a lot of cinnamon and just a little nutmeg, but how much you use is totally up to you and your tastebuds.
Drop on some walnuts
Dot the top with some butter
In a cup, add 2 tablespoons of vanilla extract to 1/2 cup of water
Pour the water and vanilla mixture over the apples
Put in the over for 35 - 40 minutes or until the apples are softened
Take out the apple bake and share with your friends and family...or just yourself :)
