unpopular opinion.
Dean was not in love with Castiel. He wasn't even that good of a friend to him...despite BEING DEANS BEST FRIEND. ((Sam excluded)) - he told him to jump into a pit of hell because it seemed safe -when Cas lost his powers and had to be human for the first time Dean not only did not let him stay there he also didn't even put him up in a hotel or anything just left his ass to the wolves. -constantly just kinda uses him as a weapon or mock him. like I love Dean okay? but he and Sam are actually kinda shitty to their 'freinds' when push comes to shove. I think you should just know when entering a friendship with the winchesters no matter who you are, if you are not Sam or Dean himself you are expendable. yanno what nah even Dean is expendable to himself...we saw that. The entire show can be summed up in Sam is priority #1 FOREVER. ....annnnd yeah we can save you if there is enough time. maybe unless we forget to get you out of hell for several years. whoopsie doodles. lol not complaining I love how fucked up and codependent they are..but yeah that is what I think of and why I am not the biggest Destiel shipper. Like if they wanted to fuck I am not going to be blocking the way to the bedroom door but I just don't see them doing it or heading in that direction.
