Status: Open Location: Tavern Vida walked into the tavern that night with her bag of tea in hand. She'd begun a trade with one of the bartenders to bring herbal teas in exchange for a few drinks herself. She handed the drawstring bag of loose leaf tea over and then took her own mug of rum in hand.
The place was noisy and loud this evening, a number of new ships having come in the past day or two so the place was bustling. There should be someone here she could pick for information or try to befriend for whatever short amount of time it may be. Siding with anyone who came into port may one day get her on the wrong side of someone's sword, but so far, it had led to some very eventful (and some very boring) encounters so flipping the coin and taking her chances was always worth it.
She turned around from the bar with her mug in hand and skimmed the place. Every seat looked filled except for the ones she could already see the brothel workers eyeing. It didn't seem fair to take their hard earned money away from them so she propped back by the bar and kept her eye on the place.
There was a tan skinned young man in the corner who looked like he may be doing the same thing she was. And there was a woman who reminded Vida of her own sister as she perched on the edge of one of the tables. Vida marked her off her mental list. A handful of older pirates sat about laughing and drinking and gambling away coin. Vida wasn't opposed to gambling, but she had brought very little to wager with tonight so she sighed and stayed put with her back to the bartender.
Either someone would leave and free up a seat or someone would notice her and get her attention. For now, it was best to wait. Despite how she felt, she never wanted to appear too eager.
