Umineko is by and large an incredibly sharp exploration of the rhetorical functioning of truth and fiction. The one place in which it "errs" (although in truth I don't think it is actually ignorant of this) is its conception of the Witch's place within society. Umineko envisions a world where magic is always on the back foot, where lies and misdirection can only exist in the fleeting shadows of the human world, scampering before the remorseless onset of truth. But in our world of humans, the Witch not only walks proudly in full view of all, she runs this town. Witches are the indispensable element of the modern world, kept solid by that condensed form of magic called money and power. In Umineko, a Witch is fundamentally fragile, a contradiction that once unraveled and revealed before the light of the sun vanishes like mist. But in our world, an exposed witch laughs at our pitiful attempts to dispel her, and continues right along, wreaking her havoc as thousands still hold her truth aloft. In this sense, characters like Erika and Bernkastel are a sort of wish fulfillment, a power fantasy that the right argument or evidence can viciously separate truth from fiction and tear out the heart of the Witch. After all, when we are (very occasionally) given the power to do so, do we not take the same glee as them in ridding the world of a good illusion once and for all? Because most of the time, we can't. Most Witches have gold.

Hey all, after a lot of craziness and stress and shtuff I’m back. I don’t have sissy anymore, but it’s something I’m working on getting past. I’d absolutely love a new platonic cg but I’m not like gonna go searching. Anyways, hoping to get new content out before long!!
Fellas is it gay to love and accept yourself??? I mean think about it you're loving another dude
Simply by the existence of the shadows on the wall, I can deduce that there must be objects being passed in front of the flame. This level of reasoning is possible for Furudo Erika
