Spoilers but I'm working on a drabble where Lu helps you rehearse for a musical (he isn't part of it he is just helping you)
And now I'm imagining a new scenario where Lu begrudgingly goes to a new musical that just opened up in a local theater. A bunch of awful-taste-in-musical-theatre-having sinners seem to be making a big deal out of this one, in particular the leading actress 😒 he supposes he'll give it a watch and see what all the hubbub is about (though he's keeping his expectations low. I mean, it doesn't even have ducks in it 🙄)
Only for him to come out of it completely blown away by it. Or rather, by you. The way you commanded that stage. The charm, the wit, that voice! You had him utterly hypnotized any time the spotlight was on you, which was, mercifully, most of the show.
And for the first time in a long while, he found himself wishing to take the stage again.
Perhaps he could convince the show's director to allow him the honor of working alongside you in the production for a limited run.
He will want to soak up as much of the spotlight as possible and take the next most leading role, of course!
Which just so happens to be your character's love interest.
