Eddie said this feels like a lot man. Which yes sir it is and there’s a lot in the statement alone but I want to focus on the fact that he called him ‘man’. He never calls him that anymore. They used to occasionally in s2 when they were first figuring out there friendship/ relationship but not anymore. To my knowledge not since s3. So I will go out on a limb and say he’s doing it now because he’s trying to keep a wall up. Trying to avoid that he has feelings for Buck by calling him man and other nicknames. Now I know this probably doesn’t mean anything but I can’t okay. It just makes sense to me to connect that to his repression. It points to a sign of another big change on the horizon for both of them.
