How I Wish

Oh how I wish it were true

How we are rewarded in the end for acting right

For being good to him, her, and you

For giving off positivity with all our might

Oh how I wish it were true

How in the end we all go to heaven

For all the bad we've stopped and the all the good we do

For I can't help but question

Oh how I wish it were true

There was a protector of the righteous 

For he could make us anew

For the protector would see no bias

Oh how I wish it were true

Inside I know it is not

My ending is not past due

So my longing for closure will not be forgot
