for something to be csem there needs to be a victim, of course art, 3d renders, deepfakes, etc of real children qualify.

however, art of fictional characters doesn't. nsfw art of someone's completely made up loli oc isn't csem because there is no victim, nobody is being hurt, and it certainly doesn't have even comparable impact as racist caricatures and blackface.

and also, candy and childrens' toys are much more common grooming methods than nsfw art of fictional characters. focusing on what was used to groom someone moves focus away from the real problem - the groomer. if no nsfw art of anything existed at all, there would still be predators out there grooming children, and it's harmful to claim randos making art online are responsible for those predators' actions.
