The UK has a massive TERF problem and I'm fucking sick of it!

All these fucking rich white women claiming that trans people's existence is somehow harming them are fucking ridiculous! If you care that much about people discriminating against you based on your sex, maybe don't do THE EXACT FUCKING SAME THING to other people? Maybe just treat people with respect.

I know it was just an employment tribunal but the fact that Maya Forstater won her appeal and then instantly went on to spout transphobic bullshit and threaten employers who are actually inclusive of trans people with legal action: "After this judgment, employers and service-providers that ignore sex and silence women who object, need to consider whether they are acting unlawfully, and the substantial legal risks they face if they do not change their approach." just shows how accepted and protected TERF viewpoints are in this country. The judge told her not to harrass or misgender trans people but still let her win and did nothing to actually stop her spewing her hate and bigotry.

i love Harry Potter, but it doesn't mean I support J. K. Rowling or anything she said in social media. I'm not transphobic, and I find it really hurtful that people give Harry Potter so much hate just because of the things the author said. Could we please separate the story from the writer? The blame is on her not in the series.
