Sorcery has been called Magic; but Magic is Wisdom, and there is no wisdom in Sorcery.
~Paracelsus
Hello, dear! You've been visited by the random character question fairy! :D ~☆
Does your character ever 'fuck around and find out'? In other words, do they sometimes do things just because they can? If so, how has that turned out for them? If not, do they ever regret not being more adventurous?
ok so i have to answer this for Killian because the answer is 100% yes, all the time, there’s no other way to handle a problem. He’s very forward thinking to the point where it’s a character flaw. It’s why he has so many scars.
the consequences are kind of a mixed bag? most of the time he’s skilled enough to figure it out and get through it, but sometimes he fucks up too much and the risk/reward just isn’t worth it.
he has not learned his lesson and likely never will.
Ecclesiastes 9:10 (ERV) - Every time you find work to do, do it the best you can. In the grave there is no work. There is no thinking, no knowledge, and there is no wisdom. And we are all going to the place of death.
Is the moon, really the sun's back?
“Where the fuck did you get that idea? The moon is the Earth’s rocky satellite, formed about 4.5 billion years ago, probably from the debris when a large asteroid struck the Earth and shot rocks from both planetary bodies into orbit.”
Proverbs 21:30 (ESV) - No wisdom, no understanding, no counsel can avail against the LORD.
Proverbs 21:30 (NIV) - There is no wisdom, no insight, no plan that can succeed against the LORD.
