Wednesday Headcanon the No-Faces

No-Faces use a light form psychic parasitism in place of there senses.They see, hear, and smell through the sensory organs of organisms closest to them.
They can choose which organisms they attach to and how many at a time. More taking a greater level of concentration but providing a better picture since they are navigating with a level of binder on.
Some No-Faces have a support animal usually a animal that can be trained to sit on their shoulder on in a pocket.
Using multiple different organisms that have different levels of perception at the same time can lead to over stimulation but a skilled No-Face can use it to cross reference what it's seeing.
No-Face's can't be turned to stone by a Gorgon but will suffer a sympathetic reaction in which they become paralyzed and should not be separated from the stoned individual.
The psychic field that allows them to use nearby organisms is limited in scope to organisms within a certain distance that changes between individuals. This field however is not blocked by solid material walls, floors, ceilings.
They can't exert will over the host organisms and can only sense what they are actively perceiving ie can't move the eyes, inhale deeply etc. They can also not enter the mind of or influence them via the connection.
Multiple No-Face can't use the same host organism at the same time, likewise if the organism is already hosting a secondary mind such as possession, scrying etc the No-Face cannot use them.
They can sense the presents of outcasts like vanishers but cannot use bodies or minds of entities that do not have physical bodies. They also can't use the dead organisms that have been risen through necromancy or at the very least it is a heavily jarring experience that can cause damage.
A No-Face could use a psychics senses to see a spirit though it may have a physically damaging cost.
The level of comfort of a no-face using another outcasts senses is a contentious subject as with the exception of psychic outcasts they host will not know it's being used. Ethical No-Faces will ask for an ongoing consent with agreed upon caveats but they must be placed with a roommate that is okay this. Upon waking or regaining consciousness they will automatically take on the senses of the nearest high level organism.
