Is there anyone who actually seeks out and is obsessed with No.6? Like, honestly? When I first found out about the show, I was hooked. Then I find out these two idiots were actually in love (No.6 introduced me to BL and fanfiction). When I tell you I was obsessed, I was not fucking around. I looked for the manga, I looked for the fanfics, I looked for things I didn't even know I was looking for. Thus came the novel. And guess what? You can bet your sweet little ass that I binged the whole translated 9 volumes PLUS the side stories PLUS the epilogue. I downloaded the anime ending, Rokutousei no yoru, (that name is a bitch to learn when you don't know a lick of japanese) before I started reading and listened to the instrumental version throughout all of No.6. I cried, I sobbed, I felt like my heart was ripped out of my chest, stomped on, put in a fucking shredder, then put right back. I love this novel, anime, and manga. It's my #1 favorite. Fuck, the ending was sad as shit but you know what? I loved it for that specific reason. The ending was unexpected af. That ending is also how reality is sometimes. You meet the love of your life but because of any circumstance, that happiness you feel of finally finding your s/o can be taken away from you just like that. This is also why I absolutely adored Banana Fish but that's another rant for another day.
Novel!Shion is a lot sassier than Anime!Shion and I love'em both but damn do I enjoy a good sass
I love Novel!Safu ♡♡♡
The Safu in the anime comes off too strong and I honestly wish they would've kept that little scene after she asks for Shion's sperm. Like, the way she explains it to him at first is just an excuse to be with him. After Shion argues about how DNA can't define a person, Safu gets tired of it and finally tells him the real reason. She tells him she wants to have sex with him and honestly that takes some balls. Shion probably declined because he was already head over heals for Nezumi, which is amazing but also sad for Safu.
I love my girl so much and she deserved more than what she was given ♡♡♡
