Andy figured that addressing the elephant in the room would be easier than just ignoring it, but she winced as the words left her mouth.

Objectively, it was strange, that they'd chosen a venue like this — an event that felt like it inherently raised the stakes more than just a coffee or drinks at a bar — for their first date fresh off of an app, but maybe just letting it lie and dealing with it would've been the more tactful approach.

"Sorry. I don't mean to say that I'm not having a good time at all. I am, seriously. Just, like, this is a lot, right? I'm not crazy for thinking that?"

"Yo, Noah!" There was an obvious wave of Dallas' hand in the air along with a whistle when he spotted the other man having walked through the door, seeking his attention so he didn't have to wander the length of the bar searching for him. He had secured a prime enough table, two tables to the right from front of the large TV with a close path to the bar in case the match didn't go his way and he needed to drown his sorrows.

"Over here, man." Dallas is had to miss in his Spurs home kit jersey, a measure of Captain Morgan's sitting in front of the empty seat at his table along with a Coke to be poured in it that he had gotten for Noah when he had gotten a Jack and Coke for himself.

There are more kobaloi in the city than just Ikaros, and, evidently, more siblings of them as well. It’s a strange sort of point of connection to have with someone, and yet that’s exactly the the position Ari finds himself in now. Though Monty seemed to thrive on making the human as uncomfortable as possible, he also did mention having a brother of his own, and perhaps it was Ari’s own curiosity that led him to Noah. Funny, when he met the other man at the coffee shop before, he wouldn’t have expected anything like this. His gaze falls down to the to-go cup in his hands, playing with the tab on the plastic lid — a nervous tell. “Has Monty talked to you much about it? All his lives?” Ariston is almost afraid to ask for more details from Ikaros. ( @noahkramer​ )
